Summer Time – Hope that you are all enjoying your summer!
Nikola Tesla Day Celebration at the Telus World of Science – Edmonton, July 7, 2024 -- It was a fun and exciting event, not to mention an educational one. Check out our website at www.teslawave.org for a brief summary of the event.
Even Earlier on – We participated at the Serbian Fest in Calgary. We also had a display and a presentation at Serbian Days in Edmonton.
Heritage Days -- We had a display but unfortunately some of our posters got damaged from a heavy rain and thunderstorm.
MITACS Project – Tesla in Science Textbooks -- Excellent progress has been made and the project completion is set for October 2024. The leadership group is in discussion about the possibility of continuation into Phase II of the project.
Behind the Scenes – Our corporate Registry has been filed and processed for this year. We are busy tidying up some technical glitches regarding communications with our members. These are linked to the University of Alberta’s dropping of alumni Google Drive accounts.
Membership Update – Welcome to our new member Mr. Frank Zhu! We are looking forward to Frank’s involvement with NTHSA.
Membership Renewals – If you haven’t renewed your membership, please do so at your earliest. Our revenue has dropped significantly and we count on every penny for sustaining and delivering of our exciting initiatives. You can email your fee to membership@teslawave.org
Donations – Thank you to Vesna Farnden for her generous donation! Vesna is particularly interested in programs for young children.

What’s Up -- Come Fall, we plan to have the AGM and a volunteer recognition event. The AGM will feature a new movie on Nikola Tesla produced by the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade.
We’ll notify you about it at a later date.
Call for Volunteers – Anyone following our activities will surely recognize the significance of our work. In addition, we are an enthusiastic and fun group but we can only do so much. Please consider joining us or, at least sharing your ideas with us.
